Since its foundation in 1848, COUSIN Trestec has been manufacturing a range of ropes and textile braids in its factories in the North of France, and were one of the first rope manufacturers to make cords and ropes for the sport and leisure industry. Our skills have expanded in to various areas such as yachting, climbing, paragliding and kitesurfing.
Cousin also manufacture for the industrial and safety sectors such as offshore work, lifting, load handling, and also military and rescue specialisms.
To improve durability, safety and performance, COUSIN Trestec uses the best materials on the market: high tenacity polyamide and polyester, Technora®, Kevlar® and other such as Twaron®, Dyneema®, Spectra®, Vectran® or PBO®.
In addition to an unequalled knowledge in new material and manufacturing technologies, Cousin Trestec’s strength is to bring together this knowledge and to combine it with years of tradition to manufacture the best quality ropes possible.
